How to use the Film School Application Database & Tracker

Thanks to our many members, the FilmSchool.org Application Database and Tracker consists of over 4,000 applications that date back to 2015, making it one of the most advantageous tools on the website. Its basic function is to track film schools’ rates of acceptance, minimum GPAs, accepted test scores, in addition to each program's many notification and decision dates.

Good luck! I hope you get in! I also applied and I'm really anxious! What kind of questions did they ask?

Hi, I'm done with my interview the other week. They asked me whether I watched any films lately, what projects am I working on, what kind of stories I want to tell, what I see myself doing, like writing or directing etc. They were keeping the tone light and not tense, so I was comfortable. At the end they asked how well I work under pressure, and also asked about a few bad grades on my transcript (the most surprising question). I said (truthfully so) it was lockdown in my country and I was a freshman, so it was difficult to start off as a new student online right away. Not sure why my grades were brought up but my portfolio or submitted work weren't, but overall manageable questions, lighthearted but professional. Have you gotten your call for interview yet? Wishing you all the best if you have!

Thanks very much for replying! I hope you get in! I haven't gotten my interview yet. In fact, I didn't got any invitation. I'm starting to worry, to be honest
