Thanks to our many members, the FilmSchool.org Application Database and Tracker consists of over 4,000 applications that date back to 2015, making it one of the most advantageous tools on the website. Columbia SOA Directing/Screenwriting MFA - 2024
First time applicant! I graduated undergrad in June 2022 and applied for Fall 2024 entry. I was waitlisted and learned about the decision much later than other programs. I'm really bummed about it as Columbia was my top choice, but I'm going to reapply!

First time applicant. I graduated undergrad in June 2022 and applied for Fall 2024 entry. I'm a little disappointed that I was rejected from the program, but I didn't receive an interview so I wasn't surprised. I'm still proud of myself for applying!

First time applicant! I graduated undergrad in June 2022 and applied for Fall 2024 entry. I didn't get into Fall 2024, but I'm thrilled that I have guaranteed admission for Spring 2025! I'm crossing my fingers that a spot opens up for Fall 2024.
