How to use the Film School Application Database & Tracker

Thanks to our many members, the FilmSchool.org Application Database and Tracker consists of over 4,000 applications that date back to 2015, making it one of the most advantageous tools on the website. Its basic function is to track film schools’ rates of acceptance, minimum GPAs, accepted test scores, in addition to each program's many notification and decision dates.

Wondering if you will decide to attend? The interview felt impersonal also, generic questions, and no mention of submitter portfolio.

Did you also apply to the Cinematography program? Kinda glad to hear it wasn't just me! Super weird that there was no comment on my portfolio, I thought.
I haven't fully decided, but I am leaning toward 'no.' I think it's a great school with amazing resources, the only school of its caliber on the east coast, and every student I've talked to from there has loved it. I've had my eye on Feirstein for a couple of years (had planned to move to New York last year to qualify for in-state tuition, but you know, last year...). However, being out-of-state, without funding, and with a fair amount of industry experience behind me, I don't think I need to go into $90K of debt for the degree. Since I also make my own personal/experimental films, I otherwise applied to arts programs, and I think I will be better served by a fully-funded program where I can teach. If I want to get more technical training I might do something like the European Film College for a year afterward. I guess I'm remembering that you don't need a degree to make films, but you do need a degree to teach.
What are you thinking?

Yes, I applied for the Cinematography cohort too, and just received my acceptance recently.
Other schools I have seen make 90K of debt for film school actually sound "reasonable."

I am strongly leaning toward "yes". It sounds like you already have a path that you are working towards, and if that get's you to the ultimate destination without debt that is even better.
I would love to check out some of the films, where can I see them at?
