How to use the Film School Application Database & Tracker

Thanks to our many members, the FilmSchool.org Application Database and Tracker consists of over 4,000 applications that date back to 2015, making it one of the most advantageous tools on the website. Its basic function is to track film schools’ rates of acceptance, minimum GPAs, accepted test scores, in addition to each program's many notification and decision dates.

Congratulations! Can I ask who was your interviewer? Because my interviewer didn’t seem interested in having a conversation either. I was the one asking all the questions and carrying the conversation

It was Matthew Moore, the academic program manager
Oh, I had a different one, Benjamin Snyder. He’s the screenwriting professor. It’s very concerning though because it’s two different people from the faculty. Makes me wonder what the rest of the faculty is like

I was accepted too and my Interview was a bit underwhelming as well. It felt like I am being interviewed by a low level HR. Very few, very basic general questions. No questions on anything I mentioned in SOP ( which was a decent piece or writing, imo) and no questions or specific reference about my portfolio nor reel - The interviewer just said something like "your portfolio is impressive" and I said "thanks" , nor any mention about anything in my 3-page professional resume (15 years in the industry). Just a little weird. But it was casual and quick and I am in.
