@Chris W Yes, I got the date wrong. It’s the 13th, not the 23rd.

Hi Steven,
Does this email mention what level of English exam need to pass? I haven't received any notification about the specific requirement of my interview.

Thank you~

All it says is that there’s an English requirement for getting a student visa and leaves the government link, which gives you a bunch of specifics: Student visa

hope that helps

Thank you so much. I just received an interview email. lol

I will take my interview on 13 June 2022 at 9:35am (London local time).

Good luck!
Same day as me! Maybe they’re trying to squeeze all of us in in a day? Anyway, good luck to you too! I’m sure we’ll be fine…one hopes…

Thanks! How was yours?

The teachers were very friendly and the whole process was very relaxed. I think maybe I can get into the workshop. 🥺
That’s awesome! Congrats! It’s giving me a strange sense of confidence going into mine but we’ll see…

I'm sure we'll meet! I've heard that you get the results of the interview in a week or a week and a half. When are you attending Workshop! 😆

Just finished my interview. Think it went ok, but we’ll see. They told me I’d receive an Answer next week so I’m going to keep my fingers crossed…

hi congrats! I was wondering if you could tell us something about the interview, what did they ask and if you had the visual test or whatever they call it? I also got an interview for July but I’m already anxious lol

Sorry, i’m reposting this because i forgot to reply directly to your post since i’m so so so tired at the moment…

Congrats on your interview! Is it for producing? Crazy that our interviews are so far apart… I left a description of my interview above. There were no tasks, no real trick questions, nothing particularly unexpected. But going back over it, it feels like i didn’t have a great connection with them at all—i was the last interview of the day, and it seemed like the interviewers hadn’t really gone through my materials thoroughly, which is fine. But at one point i had to correct an interviewer when they clearly hadn’t read the whole of my answer—discouraging to say the least. They were great and very nice, but i just never quite settled in. bumbled answers like an idiot at times and didn’t represent myself or my aspirations the way i should have. But all-in-all a good learning experience.

TLDR: No tasks, no real format, questions about your background, why NFTS, and then some other subjects to get to know you. Lasted for me about a little over a half hour and there’s nothing really special about it at all—just a normal grad school interview. I wish you better luck than I had!

Hi @steveeen tysm for replying that’s so useful! I’ve applied for editing so that’s maybe why we are so far apart with our interview dates but I still find it strange… I wonder why honestly. regarding the interview, congrats for going through it first of all and don’t beat yourself up too much about it, im sure it didn’t go as bad as you might think now. There’s always moment after interviews/tests etc where you feel like it went horribly and then looking back at it, it wasn’t bad at all so I’m sure you did great!! I’ve heard they like making you feel a bit of pressure to see how you react? I read it from other posts from past years so maybe that’s also where your bad feeling is coming from, I hope they offer you a place anyways do you have a workshop after this or will it be their final decision?

my email mentioned a visual test so they seem to use different things for different courses as well. I got my fingers crossed for you anyways!!
