    How to use the Film School Application Database & Tracker

    Thanks to our many members, the FilmSchool.org Application Database and Tracker consists of over 4,000 applications that date back to 2015, making it one of the most advantageous tools on the website. Its basic function is to track film schools’ rates of acceptance, minimum GPAs, accepted test scores, in addition to each program's many notification and decision dates.

What was your GPA when you applied? I'm still trying to decide if I would enjoy a Film intensive program or a screenwriters program. Did you have to take the GRE? I remember reading about them not pushing it this last year. Congratulations on getting in though.

I had a 3.68 GPA and did not take the GRE. I also majored in political science and minored in journalism, and then did a one year online tv writing certificate program with UCLA, so doing a film-related major is not necessary for admittance.
