Did you know you can install FilmSchool.org as a PWA web app on your phone? You'll get push notifications on new posts and much more.
On iPhone or iPad it requires iOS 16.4 and the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. On Android it is done easily as well via Chrome.
It will allow you to receive push notifications on your phone about replies to your posts or threads that you are following with the film camera icon like this:
And our site has been recently updated to be completely mobile friendly with navigation and unread counters at the bottom:
P.S. - if anyone wants to send me a screenshot of the push notifications and alerts on an iPhone that would be wonderful. (I don't have an iPhone)

To install FilmSchool.org as an "app" on your phone do the following steps:
- Press the three bar hamburger icon ≡ in the top left of the site to bring up the side menu.
On iPhone:
On Android:
- Select the "Install the App" option.
On iPhone it brings up this:
Select "Add to Home Screen"
On Android it brings up this:
Select "Install"
- Voila - FilmSchool.org is now an "app" on your phone! It'll even have a symbol next to the icon when there are notifications.
