An Example Blog Entry

MCkeyboard.webpSupporter+ Members can have their own blog on FilmSchool.org. This is blog with examples of the things you can do with this exclusive new feature on the site.

Once you are a Supporter+ Member you can create a blog. This is the home for all your blog entries on the site. This blog's home page is here.

Once you have a Blog page you can then create "Blog Entries" which are normal blog posts.

Blog entries can be:
  • An introduction about yourself and why you're into film and what you want to do
  • Updates on your application process
  • Chronicling the shooting of a film
  • Chronicling the writing of a script
  • Random musings
You can even create a "Series" which is a group of related blog entries that are related to each other. (Chronicling writing of a script or shooting a film or your application process)

You can also create separate pages on your blog where you can post your portfolio or resume or various contact info.
About author
Chris W
Founded Studentfilms.com (now FilmSchool.org) while attending BU's College of Communication for film in 1998. Currently thriving in the world of "non-scripted" TV editing and producing - which surprisingly (depending on the show) is an extremely fulfilling and creative experience as an editor as the editor practically "writes" the whole show instead of it being written before it even gets to you.

The Film School forums on Studentfilms.com were moved to FilmSchool.org in 2014.
