Hey everyone,
Anyone heard back yet for Cinematography interviews?
The registrar told me end of June so I guess I still have a couple of days, but I'm curious to see if anyone else who applied for Cinematography already heard back one way or another.

Nothing for me and for another guy who applied for cinematography but isn't on this forum.
I just wrote to the registry today, because I am like on the website and Gmail 24/7 just refreshing it...
I will write here if I get any message

Hey Norbert,

Thank you! I was planning on calling the registrar, but I figured I might wait till Friday and give them time to respond to everyone. It looks to me as though the committee officially stopped deliberations last Friday if not even yesterday for some of the specializations, so yeah.

Awesome! I haven’t checked my dashboard yet, but it was still stuck at “Selection Panel” yesterday so.
Congratulations on getting into AFI! Which one are you leaning towards more?

They replied to my email, saying "The outcome will be emailed to you by the end of this week. "
I couldn't dare to ask if they are working on the weekend as well, but fingers crossed we will know it as soon as possible

Applied for Directing Fiction, rejected - anyone have thoughts on if it's kosher to ask them for specifics on a rejection or feedback? Thought I had a pretty strong app (had worked on NFTS films and some alums worked on my short), obviously it's never a shoe in but would love to know what they're looking for next time round.

I don't think it couldn't hurt to ask but they probably won't tell you anything. Did you interview?

There's always next time. Do you know how many they accept and how many applicants there are?

Just got my interview and it was fun and warm, they are nice people and very enthusiastic. Has anyone else already passed an interview?
