What were the best films of 2020? I need to watch some good ones. Still need to watch "Ya no estoy aqui"

The Lighthouse was 2019. I feel like 2020 made me miss a lot of films. I want to see Tenet still.

I really enjoyed these 2020 films:

- The 40 Year Old Version (Netflix)
- Sound of Metal (Amazon)
- Minari
- Da 5 Bloods (Netflix)
- Palm Springs (Hulu)
- Soul (Disney+)
- Borat 2 (Amazon)

I forgot to comment here but some of my favorite movies of 2020 were

Lovers Rock

The Trial of the Chicago Seven

The 40 Year Old Version

The Invisible Man (I believe this was the last movie I watched in theaters before the pandemic hit)

One Night in Miami

I need to watch Minari !!! And I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this, I honestly thought Nomadland was boring. I didn’t even finish the movie lol

I loved the 40 year old version! I can’t wait to see more from Radha Blank

Started watching this last night. Didn't finish it yet so don't ruin it ha. The perils of only being able to start movies after the kids have gone to bed.
I fall asleep most of the time so it almost always takes me two viewings 🙈

Finally finish Sound Of Metal last night. Pretty good. The middle bugged me a little bit though.

My favorites this year were
40 Year Old Version
Nomadland
Promising Young Woman
Kajillionaire

I haven't seen Minari yet or Sound of Metal, but I want to!

Never Rarely Sometimes Always ( Eliza Hittman)
The Woman Who Ran (Hong Sang-Soo)
Lovers Rock (Steve McQueen)
Days (Tsai Ming Liang)

I haven't seen One Night in Miami or Minari yet though.
