If filmmaking is your passion, Fanshawe's Advanced Filmmaking program will build on many of your previous diploma/degree skills and talents. You'll be able to experience the art of making narrative and documentary films, exploring the world of television and other media sources. You'll hone your editing, directing, producing, and marketing skills. You'll work alongside a diverse production team of classmates who will share common goals, while accessing the insider knowledge of Oscar-caliber guest lecturers.
However, your Advanced Diploma won't be earned in a bubble. You'll collaborate and create digital media products with other college programs such as television, theatre, fashion and music industry arts. You'll work alongside aspiring artists and technicians, who will be eager to join your productions, establishing bonds with future collaborators.
Careers in the film industry are as diverse as the skills you'll develop. Become an independent filmmaker, or find a career as a writer, media content creator, director or producer. You'll even find opportunities in project management, marketing, or distribution.
