Unlike other film certificate programs, Television and Film Production at Fullerton College delves into writing and producing for radio as well as other niche areas of filmmaking, not limited to media aesthetics, world cinema across the 20th century, and non-linear editing. Ideal for economical filmmakers, Fullerton College is only a 1-2 hour drive from Los Angeles’ major motion picture studios but offers a 12.2% reduction in cost of living. And as one of the oldest community colleges in the nation, the cost of attendance is cheaper than other California-based film certificate programs. In 2022, Fullerton College also resumed hosting its annual French Film Festival.

To earn the certificate, students must complete the required 24-48 units. Click here to see which courses can transfer to a bachelor’s degree program.
