Evaluating writing and film is very subjective. I say keep knocking on all the doors you find and someone will eventually open up. In the meantime, keep working on your craft, take feedback, get better. That's all any of us can do.- Iuli Dia

UCLA is a great school. Best of luck to you! You're in good hands. I just checked my USC portal. Nothing yet. It's probably going to be a rejection but still, it would be nice to have some closure at this point. Hope everyone is finding some distractions by working on other projects!- Iuli Dia

Could not agree more with this. It's tough when you've done your part and now it's out of your control. All you can do is wait. I'm also working on a script for the competition season. Finished the first draft but it still needs work. Which screenwriting competitions are you looking at?- Iuli Dia

Not sure if I'll reapply yet. I didn't get an interview for UCLA, so that pretty much means I won't get in. Help with college choices please
I went to UNCSA for undergrad and it is a great school. It's a conservatory for the arts so very immersive. At the end of the first 2 years you get divided into 5 disciplines, based on your choice and whether you get into that discipline or not. Directing, producing, cinematography, editing...- Iuli Dia
