The acceptance process is nice, preparing the materials is a very interesting challenge. Then they call you for the interview and after that to give you an answer.
Hey starting the Columbia School of Producing Thread! Havent seen any before and didn't think it would be ideal to post on Screenwriting/Directing SOA 2024
It was a smooth process - I found it to be quite straightforward, though very heavy on the screenwriting which was surprising to me, even with the first year being split between Directing/Screenwriting/Producing.
Lots of writing! Proud of both of the screenplays I wrote (the film prompt and the dramatic writing sample). Fitting the feature film treatment on a single double-spaced page in Courier font was difficult, but I got it in the end. I wish the autobiographical essay had more of a prompt.
