It was great. Had an amazing Interview with the team. Preparing was tuff but I enjoyed every aspect of the process. I was at every info session so that helped also. Generally my experience was great . Very excited I got in.
Good, I am a BFA graduate from DePaul, so I interviewed with a professor I know. Didn't ask me many questions about myself, but it could be because he knows me from class. He mostly talked about what the program was and about himself, which he tended to do in class, so I am not surprised.
The process was pretty straightforward. I submitted my application on the day of the deadline, and my two references were a college professor and a director I had previously worked with. My interview was with two faculty members from the Producing program, and it felt more like a vibe check —...
Two different applications (one general USC one and one Slideroom app with all your supplements).

The application was easy and straightforward, especially compared to other schools. The interview went well and it was more like a conversation than anything else.
The application process was rather interesting. Enjoyed developing and working on sending a treatment.
If you're applying to this course in the future, don't hesitate to reach out to me if I can be of any help!
Until now, I received an email saying that my application is ready for review. I am sooooo nervous, afraid of rejection🥲. Perhaps some other producing applicants or students can share some experiences of interview. Thank you so much!
Pretty easy process, the interview was very intense, it felt a little like an oral exam. Haven't seen a lot of other people post here about the program, I was surprised to hear back so quickly after the interview. Definitely anxious to hear back from Columbia to help make my final decision.
NYU has been a thougher process. I like that they allow us to work on our portfolio really early on, that helps a lot.
I took the duolinguo test and had some problems putting it on the gradcas website. AFI was really quick to email me saying they were missing those files. Would advise you to...
AFI has been a smoother process. I really liked their webinar, found it to be more helpful than other schools. They've also been more clearer and transparent in the process and I feel like they don't leave you hanging for a long time.

Very nervous.
Since this is my second time applying and my first time being interviewed I have a lot of hope but am also filled with anxious excitement.
Would love to hear how people’s interviews are going.
Two essays. One required, one optional. Submitted the optional as well. Application is automatically submitted when all materials are delivered/uploaded.
Was admitted very quickly and am somewhat suspicious of how quick it was.
Hi Everyone!
I have a question regarding the one page film concept for the creative portfolio at Tisch, I read on this thread that "the concept is simply an idea for a feature film that you may wish to develop should you be accepted into the program. therefore we assume its not something...
