haha yeah it does suck big time. I am still able to attend fortunately, although I would have to solely rely on loans

Was the email just like here are the Grad PLUS loans from the dept of ed you qualify for? Just wanting to make sure we should be expecting something even if we don’t get anything. I know they don’t give out tons. Total bummer!

I believe they might be sending out actual financial aid letters in the future later based on the FAFSA information submitted by April 15. This was just an email from the Scholarship committee/Financial Director directly re: AFI scholarship

Sorry to keep bugging you about this just trying to figure out if I should give up on scholarships or not haha. Did you email them directly previously? Or was this your first email from them about it?

So what are you thinking in terms of attending? I see you got in to UT and that you mentioned it being your dream program. So I assume you’re gonna do that but curious. I’m still probably attending but it does freak me out just a bit.

I don’t think so. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if they have processed everyone’s FAFSA even with the late delivery since it’s only 150 fellows and you could do waitlisters as admitted.

Thank you! I got in for editing but can't attend without any scholarship. At least it will give someone on the waitlist a spot. How about you?
