I'm putting together my application for the editing program at AFI, but I'm struggling to find information about the program from the student's perspective. I found several threads for other programs at AFI, but not many for editing. I want to know what you expected the program to be like X what it was actually like? And how was life after you graduated? Was it hard to find a job or did you come out of AFI with a great network? Does AFI help you in anyway after graduation or is it more just you on your own?
And last but not least, how was your portfolio? I know that is one of the most important things on the application, but do you think that's what made you stand out? Or do you think it was more your previous experience or narrative statement?
