Any updates from the USC Film Production MFA Waitlist?

Hi everyone, I am an international student currently on the waitlist for the USC Film Production MFA program. I am awaiting information on whether I can enroll this Fall or in the upcoming Spring semester.

I understand that the admissions office has the right to notify waitlisted students as late as August. But I am concerned that if I am notified later in the summer, there may not be enough time for me to apply for a student visa, given the processing times and current travel constraints.

(Also, considering the high cost of international flights at this time, I am already inclined to prefer enrolling in the Spring semester.)

Has anyone experienced similar concerns in previous years? Is it advisable for me to communicate my preference for Spring enrollment to USC?

Thank you!

Just got a voicemail from Wendy Jimenez. Maybe a waitlist call? Anyone else hear from USC waitlist lately? This is for MFA Film Production.
