Can anyone give me feedback on my film ?

Hi. Last year I applied for directing and writing MFA program at Columbia and was rejected. This year I'm going to apply again but to other schools too. One of the submissions was my film, my first and only film from years back. I'm not sure if it shows my storytelling skills at best, since I think I've improved over the years and it was my first film. So, I am considering shooting another short film, but since I have less than 2 months and not a great budget, I thought to get some feedback on the film I submitted last year, maybe it's not that bad. If anyone can give me some feedback and some advice about it, it would be really really helpful.
