I visited the campus few weeks ago, the admission told me they were behind the schedule this year, compared to last year, everything will be late about two or three weeks.

For those who have gotten interview requests, are you international applicants or US? I know international applicants usually take precedence for interviews to work with the time difference.

Get an email back from admission, saying that “Interviews are not required for any of our programs. if you are not invited for an interview, this does not mean you are not still in consideration.” So not too much useful information, I believe interviews is a must in the past years, but still wandering what happens this year.

I've interviewed at DePaul, Columbia Chicago, and have one scheduled for LMU, but I haven't heard back from Chapman at all, unfortunately. I applied for the screenwriting program, though.

I just finished my interview with Chapman; it was a really relaxed conversation, and the questions are all common; the faculty ask you about what films you like or inspired you, what writers and books you like, why you chose directing, why Dodge, what kind of film you want to make, what difficulty you met when you were a director, what do you think is the most important to be a director. How do you see your future in five years. And let you ask them questions. Only one faculty interview me.

Hi! Thank you so much for your useful info. I am also wondering about how they review applications on a rolling basis. Did you submit on the original ddl(12.1) or the delayed ddl(1.9)?
