Columbia SOA MFA Directing & Screenwriting Fall 2025

By the way, application deadline has been extended! Just got the email:

Dear Prospective Film MFA applicants,

We are aware that a technical glitch has affected some of our applicants‘ ability to upload their applications. To ensure that each and every one of you has an equal opportunity to submit, we are extending the application deadline a week, until next Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 11:59pm ET. We expect to have the issue resolved in the next day or so.

Thank you for your patience. We hope to see your application soon!

Second time applying. Got an interview last year - bombed it - I knew it wasn't going go any further than that. This year - my writing is better, and I'm coming in from a whole new perspective. Fingers crossed.
Same! Who interviewed you last year?

Did anyone on this thread apply to other schools?

I interviewed last year with Trey and Elizabeth. I was super nervous, but in retrospect, it was a simple and straightforward interview.
