Yes, I'm going into year two as a Producing Fellow

What's been your favorite part of AFI so far?
Meeting "your people" and the access that comes with being in LA. The excitement of being an AFI Fellow, doesn't really wear off, even in year two.

What's been the most surprising thing?
You learn, not just from faculty but, a ton from other Fellows and other Fellows learn from you

Biggest piece of advice to new applicants?
Be yourself, take it one day at a time, and reach big. This is the place to fail and fail hard. None of the cycle films go external so take risks!

Thanks for doing this! I've been trying to find AFI folks for a few weeks to ask questions.

1. What discipline are you in?
2. What's the workload in terms of hours? What time do you start? What time do you go home? I ask because I have kids and am trying to figure out how I would make it work for my family.
3. Now that you're past applying, what would you do differently, if anything, in your application?
