Does the USC MFA production waitlist for fall guarantee Spring admission?

Hi Everyone, so I got waitlisted for fall 203 for the MFA production program at USC, but the email says that they will offer Spring 2024 admission if a spot does not open up. I am just wondering if this guaranteed, and if this has happened to anyone else that can confirm? Thanks!

Same question here, from what I've seen in the database, applicants usually didn't get their spring offer until mid-August. It's a dilemma to wait for that "guarantee" or choose another school, especially for an international student.

Check the spring categories in the database. I'm pretty sure at least one of those was a carryover from being waitlisted. Also check last year's USC thread.

I seem to recall someone entering another application in the spring database that was originally a fall application in the spring category.
