Fall 2024 Common App vs School Applications and FAFSA changes

Are personal essays and other fields shared in the Common App for every school you apply to? Wondering if I can customize each essay to each school application or not?

Since FAFSA is changing this year, how can apply Early Decision or Early Action if new FAFSA won't be ready yet? How do handle that if school requires FAFSA be completed as part of ED/EA apps?

FAFSA opens in Dec 2023...what are current college applicants for fall 2024 supposed to do if the FAFSA is required for their application that is due prior to DEC. 2023?
