Creating a thread for FSU as I didn't see one yet. Deadline is December 1st! How many of you have turned it in? When do you plan on turning it in if you haven't? I highly recommend not waiting to the last moment btw as one year technical difficulties caused someone to miss the deadline. 😬...

I received an email for an on-campus interview but i’m an international student. My friend who applied to the same program didn’t receive any email. Do you think it was by mistake? I emailed them but they haven’t responded yet. Did you appear for an interview?

I'm a domestic student so I went in person. I'm not sure how the interview requests go out, but I do know they're required for admissions. How long ago did you reach out to admissions?

Hi I am a 2nd year international student in the production track! I remembered when I got an invitation for an interview, it was on the application page, and we have the option to select between domestic and international. It could be different this year though!
But for international students, they host zoom interview too!

Hi, I am an international student who applied to production 2024 fall FSU, I got an interview invitation a few days ago. Do you have any suggestions for the interview? What kind of questions did professors ask?

Hey! Sorry for responding so late. Come with questions, be yourself, and be ready to talk about yourself/your work! In my experience, the interviews can be pretty unique to the person. They seem to pay a lot of attention to your application and ask questions about it or about you. In my application I wrote about how film helped me connect with my dad growing up, and in my interview for the production program they asked me to tell a story about my dad. It felt very personal.

Hi, may I ask which specialization were you applying for？ I applied for the director path and haven't heard anything after the interview. The interview was on March 1st.
