Grad School Personal Statement & Video Sample in Need of Feedback <3

Hey Guys!

I'm applying to USC, NYU & Columbia this year for my MFA and appreciate any suggestions or notes anyone has on my material. This is a general personal essay and will be slightly tailored to each school.

The video is a combination of two projects I worked on during Undergrad. Unfortunately, I don't have the raw footage for either so I did the best I could with editing. I know most schools will only accept one, so I'll probably just submit the first short to those.

You may think the video is most important but really it’s your personal statement and how you present yourself to each school. Look at each application carefully and look at what each school finds important in their materials but ultimately they just want to get a sense of who you are.
