I'm currently diving into the world of comedy murder mysteries for my first draft. There's a whole bunch of these floating around, but man, this one's been a tough nut to crack for me. It's been a year-long journey, and I'm hitting more walls than ever.
A bit about my background - I've got three comedy films under my belt as a writer and director, and I've kind of gotten the hang of this whole screenplay thing. But mysteries? That's a whole new ball game for me. I'm typically a "pantser" kind of writer, and let's just say that approach isn't exactly meshing well with the intricacies of mystery writing.
So, here's my SOS call - I'm on the lookout for a coach, or any kind of resource really, that could help me get this script off the ground. Any leads or tips would be massively appreciated!
