Hypothetical Reapplying Question

Do you think it looks bad if you reapply another year but in a different program?

Similarity, if you reject acceptance and then choose to reapply with a different program?

It might. Best thing to do is put in your personal statement why you are now changing your path. Otherwise they may feel you are unsure of your direction or what you want to do. It's similar for people who apply to different programs in the same year. It can show they don't really have a focus unless the personal statement clears up any of those doubts.

Turning down acceptance will probably not be that great unless once again, you have a major reason for it. If it's just to apply to a different program the next year, not sure how that will go.

Just my random thoughts though. I'm sure others will chime in. Definitely change if you realized your calling, just make it clear why you want to go into the feild you are now applying to.
