Hello everyone !
I am selected for study for a Master's Degree abroad within a scholarship scheme funded my country and my scholarship covers my educational expenses.
My first short film, that I wrote and directed two years ago, was a psychological thriller film. It was screened in many festivals and it received a "Sony Professional Special Prize" at a National short film festival, and received good praise from critics. Also, I have one short movie script that I have completed the writing process of and a full-length movie that I have been writing from time to time for two years, (almost completed) and want to improve.
But, My Academic IELTS score is : 6.0
Will it be a problem to apply MFA Screenwriting program in USA? My priority is ''FSU, UNCSA, CSUN, UTA, Boston and Chapman.'' Unfortunately i cannot think to apply to Columbia or USC because i heard that they want to high IELTS score.
I wonder if my creative materials are good enough, will it be flexibility for the universities to accept my IELTS score ?
