LMU - 2019 MFA Film Production

I believe those who were accepted around March 5th were originally given until March 20th to commit, and then that was extended for all to the 26th.

After that I think it just depended on if someone was able to get a personal extension. Mine was only a couple of days, though.

I hope you hear something soon!!
Dang that's crazy early. I would have thought it would be in may or something. I wonder when waitlisted people will find out if they got a spot or not.

Just found out I got in off the waitlist, can't believe it!

Oh man congrats. I'm Jealous. I haven't heard anything yet. But I see someone else on here posted they were accepted off the waitlist. I'm scared that means they sent out their final acceptance, and the rest are not getting in this year.

Did you do anything else after you found out you were waitlisted? Send anything else to help consideration? I asked if another letter of rec or essay would help and they didn't reply. :(

I wrote to the admissions team thanking them for the opportunity, as well as letting them know that I was still interested and what I'd done since I applied. They wrote back to thank me, and then I arranged a tour of the school and flew out to visit. Seems to have done the trick!
