NFTS - Directing Fiction Applications 2025

Hi! When I download my application for NFTS directing fiction I cannot see my treatment but only the title of my treatment! Just wanted to know if this is the same for everyone or if I made a mistake.

hello, friends!
hope you all are doing fine.
context: i will graduate from film school this year and therefore want to commence my MA next year, if possible.

NFTS is my #1 option. that being said, could someone enlighten me what to expect from the interview? in terms of questions and dynamics. i have not found any info on the forum specifically regarding the Directing Fiction process.

thanks a lot in advance!!!!

Hey Carol, it's my first time applying, so I'm sorry I don't know the details about the interview. But you can check out past threads, like from 2023 or 2022, where many people talked about similar stuff. Also, you can dig into the application database to find people who've been interviewed or got accepted. Maybe shoot them a private message for some tips!

Good luck to everyone applying this year (especially maxitos! and forum friends from last year) I'm not applying this year as I don't think my heart can take another NFTS rejection and I haven't got a new project that they haven't seen. But will be back on the forum next year hopefully with a new project or two to apply with. Good luck!!

Is anyone else leaving it til the last minute to submit...
I'm second guessing my answers to the questions, I keep rewriting them

My film has been watched four times now. I remember them saying at the open day that this year's progress would be a bit faster than previous years, and it looks like that's actually the case.

Hi will! All the best, how can I check if my film has been watched on vimeo?

You can check out Vimeo's analysis feature. Since I've created a private link that only NFTS can access, all the views are coming from them. Plus, you can see the locations to know where they're from.
