No Interview Email - Good or Bad?

Hi,
This is my first time applying to MFA programs (I am graduating from Ohio State this spring) and I was just wondering if there were certain dates that schools will stop sending interview requests out, or if simply not getting a rejection email at this point is good? I haven't received an interview request from LMU, and the not knowing makes me super nervous - though really this entire process makes me super nervous. Any info/advice is greatly appreciated!

Hey brittallo,

Check out the 'Tracking Application Status' page on the site if you haven't:

Definitely helpful. Not a lot going on right now, but the next few weeks are gonna get lit in there. The dates you hear back vary by school and program, and seeing other people update their application status will give you a better idea when to hear back.

A few more nights of waiting for sure. But just remember - none of this really matters Queen voice when it comes to writing. The road's probably easier and it'd be fun to pick the brains of renowned screenwriters and producers, but I don't think it should change your long-term plans. Plus you're graduating with a degree at Ohio State - that's dope! Be proud of what you're about to earn.. that's a special accomplishment on its own

Thank you !! This helps a lot. It's good to see other people's applications and that I'm not the only one twiddling my thumbs!

This is actually the new correct page for all applications:

The other link will bring you to the "legacy" Google sheets but all the data from those are in the built in tracker now.

You can search for LMU to bring up those applications. :)
