Northwestern

This summer I'm going to a program at Northwestern for screenwriting that I'm totally psyched about. It's an intense 5-week program. I'm wondering if anyone here has been in this program, or maybe if anyone will be this year? Also, I'm wondering how much a program like this will effect my chances of getting into film school. My 1st choice is obviously USC. And I have good grades. Not great, but good. 32 ACT, 1340 SAT. Plus I'm in the top 10 in a screenplay contest at Drexel University, and find out if I won within the next few weeks (top 3 get scholarships). Now, chances are I'd get into Drexel. And I may go there. But my top two choices would be USC then Boston U. I guess my question is what do you think my chances are of getting into these 2 schools, and how much emphasis do they put on portfolio, and programs such as the one I am taking this summer.
