Hi I haven’t heard anything yet also. Very weird.
Yeah seems like interview notifications came in late last year (Mid March), but all the other years prior seemed to come in around this time. By end of this week or the next. My research says last year was an outlier due to a change in NYUs academic calendar. Definitely feeling that will I/won't I anxiety right now though 😅. But relieving to hear that I'm not the only one. I'm sure we will get a better idea within the coming days/week or so.

This threads definitely dead. I wonder has anyone heard anything back yet. Seems to be coming up on the time for interview notifications according to previous applicants. This seems to be one of the least posted applications and least active threads this year for some reason.
Yeah I noticed this also.

I’m sure something great will come of its not NYU something better!

Yeah not sure what's up with the activity this year. Definitely down from last year. I wonder if Google's AI search results is making it so less people find the site? 🤷‍♂️ But posting more and making the thread more active will definitely make it so more people find it though.

Rooting for you guys. 🤞If you haven't yet be sure to log your applications in the database.

Hi!I received an interview invitation on Monday, but they haven't confirmed an interview time with me yet. Is this normal? Has anyone else encountered the same issue?
As in they sent you interview times and you replied but never received a confirmation? Or you never received time slots? I replied yesterday and still haven't heard back from when I chose the time slots.

I chose the time and didn't get the reply. I emailed the dramatic writing department yesterday, and they helped me get in touch with the interviewer. He seems to have missed some emails, so it might be better to email the department directly.

Hi! I got an interview request as well. Any tips?
Here's a compilation of interview questions:

Also here are some posts from last year's thread where they talk about inteviews...

Good luck!

Hi! I just had my interview with Robin, it was very chill and comfortable. We basically talked about why I wanted to do an MFA, go to NYU specifically, talked a little bit about my samples and then there were some general questions. They ask a lot about how you feel about feedback because i feel the program is based on that a lot, so just say you're open to feedback and having your work reviewed by other people. Other than that i would just say be yourself and try to be comfortable in the conversation. also, ask as many question as you can. she was very helpful!
