Hi guys

Regarding the MFA programs at NYU and Feirstein--I'm an international student and I was wondering if there are people here who went to these schools and programs and can give advice about which is better/ pros and cons?

I know NYU is in high demand but their tuition is double that of Feirstein's.

I appreciate any feedback about these programs, thank you!

I was looking at both but applied to Feirstein. NYU seemed to vigorous for me, 18 month (NYU) vs. 3 years. ( Feirstein) I prefer a slower pace ( more time to experiment / make films while still in academic environment I also liked the general down to earth vibe of the school and faculty.

I recommend NYU over Feirstein for their alumni network alone. Feirstein is not that great and keeps changing their programs every year, and you end up spending more money due to the lack of resources. Schools like NYU have a much more established program and much better reputation.
