NYU Tisch Grad Film - 2023

same here, seems the maximum amount they gave is 25,000?
I believe so. The breakdown is scholarship info is on this page:

Be sure everyone to log your applications so we can improve the data on that page.

(The race, sex, sexual orientation stats are limited as we only started asking that this year and it's an optional field)

Also got the scholarship of $25,000. I knew it would be unaffordable even with the aid they will give me esp since the dollar exchange rate in my country, Pakistan, is absolutely terrible since we are on the brink of defaulting. Any international students have any idea how they are going to cover the rest of the tuition?

There’re def some out-of-school scholarships that you can apply to. I’m also trying to see if there’re any teaching assistant opportunities.

If you know any good ones, please let me know! I know there is fulbright but you have to apply to that separately before and since I did my undergrad in the US, I have a very very low chance of getting it. I'm also wondering about TA opportunities but they did mention that the workload for the school is very intensive so you can't really do other things with it

just out of curiosity, for those of you who were shortlisted for interviews and/or got offered, did you guys submit the application before or after their recommended 15 November date?

I submitted on 30th November :)

Oh wow that's cutting it close!
It was terrible lol. I decided to entirely re-write my 2-page story that same day after I finished work, then at 11pm realized I didn’t have my updated resume so had to do that in 30min. One of the most stressful hours of my life haha.

Hi everyone, so everyone who has received a scholarship has received $25,000? Is that only for the 2023-2024 academic year or for each of the three years?

I'm lucky enough to have a Spanish scholarship for the first two years, but I have to plan how to pay for that hypothetical third year... Or if it's worth the effort. I think it might be worth it though, even if I only managed to complete two years. Any thoughts? (I have been accepted by Columbia College Chicago and awaiting an answer from Columbia University)

I've sent email asking the same thing, Courtney replied saying it will be renewable scholarship which means if we maintain good academic performance, it should be renewable for each year.

Has everyone else had the email from Courtney about the grad school workshops/Q&A? I can only attend the virtual one as I'm in the UK (but it's also stressing me out a bit as I'll be at the Star Wars Celebration in London at the time 😅).

Also has anyone had any luck with obtaining more funding? I'm still completely stumped. I saw on the NYU website that there are some loans that international students can get but I think we need a US co-signer for them so I have no clue how to make that work either.

After much thinking, I will be attending NYU in Fall 2023. So I would love to connect to anyone else who has or will make the same choice. You can PM me or find me at @galder.irusta in IG or FB.

Good to luck to everyone in search for funding 💪💪

That's fab news, congratulations! I'm still trying to work out funding but hope it all works out, I've followed you on insta :)
