Hi everyone! I'm an international applicant from the UK and I'm re-applying again this year. I was accepted for Fall 2023 (with a scholarship too!) but unfortunately I had to pull out at the last minute due to serious illness, which was absolutely gutting. But, onwards and upwards and I'm really really hoping I get in again this time :) Lovely to meet you all!

Hi! First time applying this year. Currently triple checking my creative samples. Freaking out a bit about not being too sure about my dialogue scene as well as one letter of recommendation that hasn't submitted yet - but mostly excited to finally submit in the coming days 🙃

Hi, I opened my email and saw an email from 3 hours ago, saying that the deadline is extended to Monday, December 4th by 9:00 AM Eastern Time. It's already too late to call in to confirm, but just wondering if anyone else got this email?

Ooo interesting! I applied a couple days ago, so I guess I wouldn't receive this email.

Anyone know if extensions were common in the past with this program? Would this mean they're down on apps this year?

Thinking about it though, it kind of makes sense to have the deadline on Monday vs. Friday - unless they were going to start reviewing applications on the weekend.

Does anyone know if the creative profile deadline has also changed? The slideroom count down is still set for tonight. I don't assume it's changed if it hasn't.

Did anyone go on a tour? If you did, did you take photos? If you did please post a review of the tour with photos (it can be anonymous) to help other applicants:

Is anyone who is submitting materials during the extended deadline (extended from Dec 1st to Dec 4, 9am EST) unable to access the Slideroom creative portfolio?

Anyone know what camera equipment students get to use at NYU? I wasn't able to find up to date info so I left it as "Unknown" for now on the new NYU page:
