NYU Tisch Graduate Film 2024 - Who's applying?

Omg I hope they tell us before, I'm shooting a film next week and don't want to find out on set in front of everyone 😅😭

Nothing on my end! I’ve been checking the portal religiously. Last year I saw my ID so I guessed I’d either been waitlisted or accepted and then Julia rang me a little while later with an acceptance! I’m assuming it would be the same or similar this year too :)
Hey! Has any one logged into the NYU portal and seen an ID number? Or has any one gotten called by Julia?

Oh I think I got an ID?? It says university ID and NYU Net ID? Were those just there for apps too?

when do u think u got that on ur portal? or do u think they did it to everyone''s portal now or rolling
Have you always had a Net ID? That only appeared last year for me right before decisions came out and was generally given to people who were either accepted or waitlisted!

So like there’s one number normally which is a university reference number for the application which everyone has, but that’s about it from what I remember. I could be wrong though and don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, but I’m just speaking of my experience last year :)

I think if you have a NetID then decisions should be coming out pretty imminently

It’s definitely different than the reference number which I see also…

Thanks for sharing, I wanted to confirm that in your experience last year, did the Id come up stating accepted or on the waitlist? I read the comments above and people don't seem to understand it the same way. I see that I do have two Id's when I check now, but I see that I wasn't there before. As well, is the notification of acceptance always going to be in the form of a phone call, followed by an email? Thanks for your patience and I hope everyone has a good outcome!

I think that's a good sign!!!!! could be either waitlist or accepted but it doesnt say with just the ID's suppodesly -- the people that accepted are usually called and the waitlists get emails and then everybody gets a standard yes or no email later
