SCAD- To gor not to go?

I was recently accepted with scholarship to SCAD's film and tv MFA, and the reviews are not rave. It's is mix pot with some good reviews and more nightmare scenario experiences. Is it really that bad? I read a takedown article on SCAD and its President too. Now I'm from India and this a big responsibility and financial burden. Is SCAD worth the leap of faith? I'm pretty much done eith everything and ready to put down the enrollment fee, but I don't know if I want to take this massive risk (student loans). Is this place any good for students? Does it help put you on the map? Is it really as bad as they say?
