Screenwriting MFA Fall 2017

Hey guys! I'm new to this thread and website, but I got in to UCLA and FSU today! Any advice on which one to pick?
Hi Lizzie! Welcome to the site :)
I don't know much about FSU, but personally, location is a big factor for me. In that regard, I would pick UCLA but there are many more things that go into the decision like connections, program rigor, etc. and I can't speak to that for FSU.

For those of you accepted at USC - first of all, CONDRAGULATIONS! <3 secondly - is your 10 digit USC ID number the same number found on our applicant portals? I know that to activate your usc net ID, you use a 10 digit ID number - but I just wasn't sure if being accepted also means that they give you a new ID number, or if they ask that you use the 10 digit one assigned to you on your applicant portal.

Thanks, everyone!

I was wrong! The ID that shows up in your you.usc.edu decision inbox is the same to the one given to you after the decision.

Sorry for the wrong info!

Someone currently enrolled told me the opposite.

Excuse me USC:

Maybe after you enroll it changes? All my follow up documentation has the same 10 digit number as what I have in my you.usc inbox. That does differ from my app reference number though?

Oi... so many questions.

Also my email acceptance has the same 10 digit number.

Hi,

I am new here. I applied to UT Austin and was actually waitlisted. I'm just not sure what my chances of actually getting off the waitlist are.

Did anyone else apply and hear back from them? Has anyone else been waitlisted?

Here's the tracking sheet: looks like 1 other person here was waitlisted for UT, one admit and one rejection.

I know that this thread is basically dead, but I wanted to say that I was offered admission to UT! I got off the waitlist!

I really didn't expect this because I applied last minute (I graduate from undergrad next month, so I was incredibly busy last semester when applications for MFA programs were due), and I only had time to apply to UT. I am so excited!

Hey, congrats! I know two people who are also going, if you want me to make an introduction, I'm happy to do it!

Congrats to everyone who got into their programs! I hope that everyone found the site useful.

Be sure to come back and visit the site and let everyone know how your program is after going for a while.
