I just received an email from NFTS saying that I’ve been placed on the waitlisted list.
However, since I’m an international student planning to study in the UK this year, most masters start in September. If I decide to wait on the NFTS waiting list, I won’t have a backup option—I would have to turn down my offer from another school.
Also, I have some scholarships problems from my government, so I have to decide it early.
So I’d like to ask: generally speaking, do reserve candidates at NFTS have a good chance of getting in?
The tutor and admissions team told me there is still a chance, but they can’t confirm the timeline. That’s exactly what worries me—without knowing when or if I’ll get a final answer, I’m not sure if I should just accept my place at another university (Goldsmiths).
That said, I still really want to wait and see if there’s a spot at NFTS.
Do you think it’s likely I’ll get a result by August?
Whether is a place or not?
