Hi everyone — I'm pursuing a BA in Film and Media Studies at Columbia University.

This year—2023—I'm applying to the Stanford MFA Documentary Film and Video program, for the 2024-2026 cycle. I'm trying to get feedback on the Stanford MFA Documentary program application, but it feels like, once admitted, students sign an NDA or something! It's so hush-hush! Please reach out if you know anything about the application process and can share. I want to learn more about the SOP, how to approach it, and what you think the MFA Doc Film dept wants to know. Also, how the interviews went, how it's set up, and your recommendations!
