The electrifying red-carpet Student Showcase of Filmsawards show, will present $15,000 in awards and prizes to winning student entries on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the spectacular Performing Arts Center at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. The featured theme this year will be a tribute to the legendary actor Burt Reynolds, who dedicated more than two decades to the red-carpet awards that acknowledge the immensely talented student film makers in Florida. The SSOF is free and open to the public, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

The event attracts more than 700 students and their families, along with celebrities, industry pros, media, state and country dignitaries, performers, and more. The star phenom, The Mason Pace Band, fresh off of their win as “Best Artist” and “Rising Star” awards at the Rome International Film Festival will be performing the alternative rock sound.
