Int Film Institute of New York

IFI Director - Misael Sanchez
We at The International Film Institute of New York have been very busy developing new programs for summer 2023. We have expanded our courses beyond just filmmaking exploring Podcasting, and other non specific workshops that can be applied throughout the content creating universe. Along with the developments to our programming we are also excited about our new location for our summer 2023 five week and one week intensives, Iona University. At Iona we will, once again, offer out of state and international participants the opportunity to stay on campus with the return of affordable housing and meal plans to be provided by the university. The pandemic slowed us down but we came back stronger with new events in Los Angeles. In January we started two new classes, a week long content creators workshop where individuals explored how to be Super Producers in Podcasting and a program we call connectLA where individuals from outside of the Los Angeles, Hollywood, community can learn about the film industry with guided production facility visits and Q&A’s with industry professionals. Both courses experienced full enrollment during our inaugural sessions with positive feedback from all participants. I look forward to our continued growth as a program and support of individuals exploring options in media making. There is a better way to do it. We are paving a new way of getting there by working within our film community to educate and connect the next generation of content creators. Visit our website, www.nyfilmschool.com to learn more about what we do or, better yet, call us! 718-796-4104.
