UCLA Directing MFA Fall 2024

Congrats! And yes mine said the same thing. From my understanding, we’ve been accepted by UCLA TFT so now we’re just waiting for the final audit to be officially accepted by UCLA Grad Admissions
Thank you! To you as well :D I did a quick google and it seems like it's more admin process than a second review...as in, it's highly unlikely that the grad school would reject the app if TFT has recommended us.

Just checked spam this morning and I got my acceptance letter yesterday! Congratulations to everyone who applied and everyone who got in. To my friends who didn’t, I know that there are amazing opportunities for you on your path, and maybe this wasn’t the right one or it wasn’t the right time. Please don’t let any school measure your sense of self worth or your drive and passion as a filmmaker. I’ve been rejected so many times over from so many different places, it was finally my time. I know that time will come for everyone and it won’t just be an acceptance letter but in so many different opportunities, successes, lessons, and wins. I’d love to stay in contact with everyone who applied and see where you all go!

Thanks! Holding out for any last minute decisions today, but if not, awaiting my waitlist/rejection letter later this weekend. It was great to get to know you all, and much help waiting these emails.
Yes! I’m rooting for you! It looks like it takes a few days to send out everything. I haven’t heard about any rejections yet so don’t be too worried.
