Hey pals… don’t forget to check your Bruins portal! I just had a feeling to check mine and it says ‘Congratulations on your acceptance’ - so I think I’m in?! I haven’t seen an official letter or anything yet though.

Congrats, that's awesome!!! 👏👏👏

Could you share a link to the portal where you've found the info? I've been looking at Application for UCLA Graduate Admissions, but it still just says "Submitted" on my application status there.

Thanks so much!! So if I follow that link it also still says ‘submitted’, but that happened last year when my NYU application was accepted.

But I made an account on MyUCLA a little while back and when I logged in today it said I have an offer of admittance. I’m travelling at the moment so I’ve only viewed things on my mobile but I’ll take a look on the computer when I’m home ☺️

Here’s the link: MyUCLA

Thanks for sharing!

I didn't have a MyUCLA account yet. Created a new one with the University ID number from my application, but didn't find any notifications over their portal either. Guess I'll have to wait longer to hear something back. Here's hoping everything works out, and I am able to join you among the accepted. Cheers.

Congrats, that's fantastic news! I created an account today, but I can't access it. I guess I'll have to wait. Fingers crossed for all of us!

I woke up to some amazing news! UCLA Admissions sent me an e-mail regarding my decision letter. I checked the portal and was accepted!

Best of luck to everyone going forward. This forum has helped my anxiety tremendously, so a special shoutout to @Chris W for creating this community.
Yay! Congratulations! Are you on the television or feature track? And out of curiosity, did you get any scholarship at all?

And a huge thank you to @Chris W for all of the work that you do ☺️

May be a silly question but what email address did you all get your interview request from?

Hi everyone! I had my interview a few weeks ago and got my decision on Saturday February 17th, 2024! I did get in and am so very grateful. I personally received an email telling me that a decision had been made about my application. It had a link to my portal and I clicked on my decision letter which explained that I had been accepted, etc. I received a separate letter for a fellowship award but almost missed it so keep your eyes peeled.

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE!

When you go to MyUCLA, where did you go to find your decision letter? Would it be in the "Message Center"?
Thank you so much, your post reminded me to check the portal today and I found my decision letter there saying I was accepted!

The letter is on the Admission Home page, you can get there by clicking on the New Students tab first. But this was also the home page to MyUCLA when I've logged on. That wasn't the case on the last couple of days, so I think that if you have a decision letter already, it will appear as soon as you log on the portal. I've been looking there since last Friday and only received mine today, so I think the process is still ongoing.

Hope you get yours soon! Best of luck to you and everyone here.

Hi! I just want to first say Congratulations to those of y'all who have gotten acceptances and thank you to everyone who has been posting on this forum. I've been lurking for a long time working up the bravery to post lol. I had my interview on the 29th of January but so far have gotten nothing (no acceptance, no rejection). Just wondering if anyone is in a similar boat? Should I take this as a rejection or keep holding out hope?

Hello everybody! Congratulations to everyone who has gotten in so far and another thank you to everybody who has been posting to this forum. I am in the same boat as above concerning my application status. I interviewed the 1st of February and have not heard anything since. No sign of acceptance or rejection. I am holding out some hope because maybe it goes in batches or by alphabetical order, and holding onto a rejection for so long wouldn't make much sense either. But that's all based on wishful thinking, you know. I'll update if I hear anything tomorrow. I was told I'll hear back by March 1st as well so we'll see what happens!

Same. Radio silence. I'm assuming it's bad news.

Welp, March 1st has come and gone and still nothing. Also not sure why they would also hold onto a rejection, but I guess they may want to get all their ducks in a row first. Anyone heard anything on March 1st?

I don't want to give any false hope, but I saw on a gradadmissions reddit that someone from an admissions committee said that the government screwed up funding this year so a lot of schools are having to hold off on sending out their second and third round of acceptances/choices until that is figured out.
