I emailed on Monday, no response so I bumped the email today and got my decision. It’s a no this time around unfortunately. But rejection is redirection and I’ve got another offer that I’m more than happy to accept (giving me lots of money too). Best of luck to everyone here !

I got rejection, too. But honestly, I don’t feel that sad because I already had two rejection and two admission.
I’m even a little bit happy that I FINALLY get the decision.

Hey guys, just wanted to update everyone. I was waitlisted for Fall 2023 but just got off the waitlist this morning for the upcoming semester. Anyone have any idea when scholarship info might come out for USC? I doubt they will give me a lot but I recently accepted and paid my enrollment deposit for NYU. I prefer NYU but I'm risking a lot financially going there so if USC somehow miraculously gives me generous aid then I may have to rethink it.

Regardless, people shouldn't lose hope because I will most likely reject the offer so those on the waitlist should have a spot open up!

Makes sense but I imagine they must have some for waitlisted students too when they get off the waitlist. But if not, I wouldn't be too surprised. Thanks for the info!

And yes the finances is a pain, I'm pretty much borrowing money from everyone in my family to cover the first year and I begged NYU to increase my aid which they did a tiny bit so I'm able to cover the first year but after that I have no money left over lol we'll see!

Just bug then all summer, that literally worked for me. When people drop out or don’t take the scholarship they’ll remember you and give you the scholarship.
