Will everyone being waitlisted enroll in spring automatically? If so, how could they ensure there will be enough spots for those new applicants?

Could someone clarify if the fall enrollment is on a different timeline? I didn’t apply for spring 2023 I did fall 2023

If you mean in regards to being wait listed for fall 2023, like me, then what happens is we have a possibility of being admitted for Fall of '23. This happens if those who got fully accepted choose to not or cannot attend for some reason--so spots would become available to people who are on the wait-list. If spots do not open up for those of us on the wait-list, then we are guaranteed admission to Spring of 2024. Hope this helps!

Any idea what this means about scholarships/funding? If we find out too late about fall 23, might not be enough time to figure everything out esp since I'm international.

I also got waitlisted! Kind of surprised because I thought my interview wasn't great and people had said if you didn't get a waitlist or acceptane until a few days ago, it was a rejection. But yay! Any other international students who got waitlisted?

Why does Fall waitlist means Spring enrollment guarantee?

I got waitlisted too and the mail said, “If we are unable to admit you off of the waitlist for the Fall 2023 semester, we will offer you admission to our Spring 2024 class. The offer of admission to the Spring 2024 class is contingent upon the submission and approval of all required updated materials that may be necessary.” It doesn’t sound like a guarantee. May someone clarify for me? Thanks!!!
