USC SCA Writing for Screen and Television MFA Fall 2024

Has anyone received anything yet? I feel the screenwriting corner of the ring has been a bit quiet as of interviews - not just as USC.
I was contacted a few days ago for some clarification regarding my undergrad transcripts (international and from multiple schools, so that's why), so they're definitely still sorting through applications.

That said, based on recent years' precedent, it's unlikely we'll hear anything regarding acceptances or rejections before February since we don't usually get interviews for this discipline at USC.

I've consolidated all the USC pages in our review database into one:

USC School of Cinematic Arts

USC School of Cinematic Arts

For more than 90 years, the University of Southern California has trained the next generation of prolific filmmakers. As the nation's first institution of higher learning to offer a bachelor's degree in film, the School of Cinematic Arts remains at the forefront of emerging filmmaking trends...

The stats are combined too:

But don't worry you can still go by individual program:

Be sure to log your application if you haven't yet!

We're interviewing USC again. Do you have any questions for them? Post them in thread linked below.

Congratulations!
Thank you, you too! See you in the Fall (I hope 😊 )
Did you receive an email notification? Nothing on my end yet. Hoping it comes in the coming days
Yes, an email came in this morning around 2:45 AM CT / 3:45 AM ET that my decision letter is available.

I remember last year, they did everything in waves (multiple emails/rounds of acceptances especially between international and US-based applicants, waitlists, and then final notifications). I hope your email comes in soon as well! x

For domestic applicants who haven't heard anything yet, do we think that means waitlist/rejection? I would assume the waves are one domestic acceptance, one international acceptance, and then one waitlist, especially given that they only take 32 in total.

Last year, some people got acceptance notifications on 2/25, others in March. So I'd hope they're not done with domestic!
