Did anyone else apply to UT Austin? It seems like a fantastic program and I am wondering how everyone else's experience has been going. It says they will send out notifications around February 15th, but has anyone heard anything from the school so far? Also, how does everyone's analytics look...

I don't guess they're ever early on their decisions, but I keep checking anyway. Definitely hard knowing there's still more than a month left.

I've applied! Still waiting though. I've been obsessively checking my portal for every school I've applied to for the last week. I will probably be doing it for the whole month until I (hopefully) start hearing back before March. I have 7 applications out and only yesterday had an interview for 1 of them. Haven't heard a peep from anyone else. Ugh... patience... who needs it? Haha.

I got views from an Austin location in December and then again a week or so ago. But I couldn’t actually see how much of the video they watched.

I'm gonna be perfectly honest... I haven't even thought to look at my Vimeo analytics lol I just took a look and it would appear that I've gotten some views from Austin! I guess that means they're at least looking at everything! Exciting! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

I'm not sure about the MA film studies program, but they list past film studies cohorts online (Graduate Students - MA in Media Studies) -- I'm sure if you Linkedin messaged or emailed one of them, one or two might respond & have insight. Wish I could be more of help!

Felt similarly, but they were super nice! I was surprised they didn't ask about creative sample, but I tried to weave a quick story in there as much as I could -- it was probably the most lighthearted, fun, and least scary interview I've been in so far lol

I had my interview as well. I think it went alright and I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d be so that was nice. But definitely still felt a bit awkward lol. Did anyone happen to find out when they’re going to be releasing info on acceptances?
